You can now buy signed copies of my novel 'A Beginner's Guide to Dying in India' direct through the official website (link above). It's been called hilarious, poignant, strange, enthralling and everything in between by various critics and such. However, it features neither glittery vampires nor inept cryptologists so it'll probably never be made into a movie.

FACTUAL ERROR: Beginners guide wasn't your first novel :)

Also, I expect some kind of badly drawn boy reference in this book, given the bewilderbeasts.

Ahaha I count it as my first novel. In the same way that Tori Amos counts 'little earthquakes' and not 'y kant tori read?' as her first album. The others were just warm ups, which is something most authors do, although not many people are aware of this.

The bewilderbeast IS the badly drawn boy reference!

Can't wait to read it Josh. I love that you demand entertainment, relevance and education from a children's novel. Seemingly, many don't. Nic

I demand it AT GUNPOINT. The other day I had to read some terrible pink sparkly genie school malarkey that hurt my eyes and soul. We need a lot less of that, and more harmonicas and steampunk in children's fiction.
